When the New Zealand rifle Brigade marched down queen street to get on board the ship to Western Front
they brag there mascot Caesar he was the one in the front the leader of the group.Caesar was a army dog in WW1 . He was trained to  help wounded men who got hurt during war he was  a kiwi hero sadly he died trying to rescue someone. Caesar's official collar ,which he wore when he led the parade down Queen street is held in the Auckland War museum.

I rate this book about an 6/10 because it gives you heaps of information on ww1 and caesar.

snail mail no more is a book about two girls Tara star and Elizabeth who are best friends they live really far away from each other they try to keep in contact with one an other.They send mail to each other but it takes two days for the mail to deliver.One of the girls got a computer so then the other one tried to convince her mum to buy her one then they both ended up getting one and talking every single day.And a computer is was faster then snail mail.
I rate this book about an 4/10 because I think it funny and a good book to read.

This book is about a young boy wanting to join the army in WW1 but he is to young to join and he thinks it's going to be over by Christmas but it goes and for years and he joins and sees horrific  sights.


I would recommend this book if you're interested in world wars and wars because it's interesting to read and it's not boring like some books.


I did enjoy this book because I like war books,It was also interesting as I said before I would give it a 9/10.

This book is about the Titanic and how it sunk and what happened. It was 14 April at 11:40 pm when they spotted the ice berg and also when it go hit. First the Titanic ship hit the ice berg and the ice berg scraped the ship in six places and water was gushing through the narrow openings. Then the compartments flooded one after the other and the bow started to pull the ship under. Then the front funnel collapses also the other funnels also start to crash under the strain. And last of all the strain on the ship is so great that it breaks apart and then the stern starts to flood and then the ships sink.

I would recommend this book if you like informational texts. I would rate this book a 6/10

I liked reading this book because it told u actually how the Titanic ship sunk.

I wouldn't recommend this book because I think there are better books you could read. 5/10

This book is about a boy named Antonio Encountering strange things throughout his life like a giant tooth a leaf that makes you get sick r injured and a giant tooth etc.

I would recommend this book to others it's humorous and it hooks you from the start.

I did enjoy this book because it was my first Paul Jennings book and I found it funny and enjoyable I would give this book a 9/10.

This book is about a girl called Tuesday McGillyCuddy. Her mum Serendipity is a famous author. Tuesday and her dog Baxterr discover that her mum has gone missing. So Tuesday starts writing a story. It was hard for her to come up with a beginning, but she eventually managed to come up with one. When she was typing the words on the typewriter silver thread came out. The more she wrote the more thread came out. When she finished the story she had enough thread to fly her and her dog to go find her mum. They set out on an adventure with a lot of twists and turns. Along the way she learns what it means to be a writer and how difficult it is sometimes to get to the end.

I would recommend this book to people who like books with imagination. I would rate this book an 8/10

I really enjoyed this book and I would love to read the whole series.

I would recommend this book if you like to know stuff about rivers. I would rate this book a 5/10 

I didn't really enjoy reading this book because I'm not that interested in science but if you do it would be a really good book for you.

Genre: New Zealand Literature.

This book was about a girl and her dad that explore the ocean together. All she does is just snorkel alongside her father while he gets footage of it all. They have done a T.V. series called Young Ocean Explorers and Our Big Blue Backyard.

I recommend this to people that like learning about our ocean and what lives under the surface and also about marine reserves and plenty of other things under the surface. I enjoyed this book because I like fishing and snorkeling.

This book was about a New Zealand man that was keen on being a deer culler and he was also in the Toyota ads. I found this book interesting because I like deer hunting and being in the bush. So if you like any of those I would think that you would like this book.

This book is about 3 paranormal workers ( Lucy George and Lockwood ) Fighting and learning about ghosts and poltergeists they will face many different and dangerous  Ghosts.

I would recommend this to others if you're a keen reader Also it is very challenging so if you like a challenge this is the perfect book for you.

I did enjoy this book because It was very challenging and hard to put down I would give this book a 9/10.
