My book is about a girl who lives with her mum. She is poor so she looks in the skip bin every night to find new things for her mum. She finds a gnome and decides to give it to her mum for her birthday coming up. She paints it and fixes it for her mum. One night she is in bed and she talks to the gnome and ... it talks back. I like this book because it has a good background. I rate this book a 8/10.
Sounds like a great book.
