Double Act
This book is about 2 girls, Ruby and Garnet. They are identical twins. Their mother died when they were young and they live with their grandma and dad. One night dad bought in his girlfriend, Rose. Gran. Ruby and Garnet did not like Rose at all. After a week some news came in that their Gran had to move to a retirement house and they were not happy. So when their gran went to the retirement house their dad decided to buy a bookshop in the middle of nowhere. The twins did not want to leave their school. Ruby and Garnet went to a different school near their shop. One day they saw an advertisement for St. Clair's movie. They did not make the cut. Then Ruby saw a prospectus for a famous boarding school, Marnock Heights. They both took the interview and the tests. Ruby done well and Garnet didn't. Surprisingly Garnet got the scholarship. Ruby was jealous but in the end they both were best friends again.

Bad Girls
This book is about a girl called Mandy. There are 3 girls that always bully her at school. Kim, Sarah and Melanie (Mandy's old friend). They always bullied Mandy. One day when she was walking home from school she saw the group of girls talking. She decided to face her fear and talk to them. They teased her about her mother and father because of their age and how fat her mother was. The group of girls chased her away and she got hit by a bus. After the girls got punished for chasing her. Mandy made a new friend called Tanya. One day Tanya went to a dairy shop to buy the paper for another lady and she stole a hair tie. She stole 2 or 3 more things and then the police caught her and she got a new foster mum. Tanya and Mandy were still friends.

I recommend this book to people who like books with more than 1 story. I rate this book a 9/10

I really enjoyed this book because Jacqueline Wilson is one of my favourite author and he books are very interesting to read.
