Son is a book about a 14-year-old Claire has no contact with her baby Gabe until she surreptitiously bonds with him in the community Nurturing Center. She sees someone flees with Gabe, then she follows. She later surfaces with amnesia in a remote village beneath a cliff. This is the sequel to the book The Giver. I would rate this book a 7/10.
