This book is about a boy named Sam. His is struggling with his life in an orphanage. So he decides to go away and work his passage to Sydney on a ship. From there he plans to go to America to find his brother. But he chooses a bad ship to work his passage. Only a few weeks out from Sydney the Dundonald is wrecked and Sam is one of the 15 sailors castaway on Disappointment Island.

I recommend this book to people who like reading history about New Zealand. I rate this book a 8/10

This book was interesting and I really loved reading this book.

    I think you could have put a little bit more detail in it to give us a more fair idea of what the book gets in to like any twists and turns.

    Should the start of your second sentence be 'he is' instead of 'his is'?
