This book is about a 16 year old boy called Brett who has been hearing screaming in his head ever since he was 5. Brett is known to be a bad guy before you know it Brett gets into trouble with his friends so his mum and dad decide to send him away to his granddad in Timberside Brett isn't looking forward to this. But then he meets this girl called Karla which he starts to like. One day they then decide to go for a walk to the pine tree there's something strange about this place .Brett can still hear the screaming but it's louder is it something about the pine tree? Brett and Karla dive down into the lake by the pine tree and they find this old metal trunk ad they are desperate to find out whats in it. They both drag it up to the surface when they finally get it up they can't seem to open it. The next day the decide to come back with a crow bar and 2 gas bottles they finally open it by melting the chains around it using the gas bottles and using the crow bar to finish it off. They find a surprise in it they are terrified.What is in the old metal trunk? 

I would recommend this book if you like interesting and murder mystery books. I would rate this book a 9/10 

I really enjoyed reading this book it felt like another mystery book which I love.
