This book is based on a true story about a kid who was born very ugly. When he was first born his own mum didn't even want to keep him because is that ugly. But he had brother and sisters who wanted to keep him. One month and five days after he was born the whole family decided they wanted to keep him. throughout his life he would have to have surgery. He had his first surgery at the age of 4 and it was big operation. A year later it was his first day of school he wasn't scared going to school on his first day like the other kids were. He did get teased lots but he got used to being called names. He finally felt like he was one of the other kids he didn't get teased as much as he did at the start. when he turned 14 he had the big decision if he wanted the big operation bigger than his first one this operation could change his life he would look normal. What choice does he make?

I would recommend this book if you like interesting stories. I would rate this book a 8/10.

I really enjoyed reading this book because I like stories that are based on true events.
