This book is about a boy, Jake who finds out a dead bird in the swamp near his favourite surfing beach and every kind of bird comes here. So he joins the Calcott Intermediate Green Group. He also joins in because Peta, the girl he likes is in it. A new sports stadium is being built and the swamp is going to get destroyed and the green group has to save it.

 

I would recommend this book for someone who likes fun and interesting NZ literature and saving wildlife stories. I would rate this book 8/10

 

I enjoyed this book because it was fun and interesting and also about birds.
