This book is about the French revolution. When Dr. Manette is released from prison in the Bastile which he had stayed for 18 years, his daughter grows up in London. Charles Darnay, a man who left France because of the hatred of his family and also a French aristocrat falls in love with Lucie and gets married. But another man Sydney Carton loves Lucie. They leave London and the only place to go is France and they are ruled under the shadow of La Guillotine in the cruel streets of France.
I would recommend this book for someone who wants to know more about the French revolution or stories by Charles Dickens. I would rate this book 8/10
I enjoyed this book but it was a bit boring. It says how cruel it was in the French revolution.
A very challenging book. Well done. The French Revolution was indeed very cruel.
